Terms of use

What Callinzo does, what it does not do, and the rules a practice and we work by.

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Agreeing to these terms

By running Callinzo on a phone line or using its dashboard, a practice agrees to these terms and to the service agreement and Business Associate Agreement signed at onboarding. Where they differ, the signed agreements govern. Callinzo is operated by Callinzo (callinzo.com), 704, 7th Floor, Palm Court, MG Road, Sector 16, Gurugram, Haryana 122007, India.

What the receptionist is

A receptionist service for a practice's phone line: it answers calls, identifies callers against the practice's patient list, books on the practice's schedule, asks the practice's approved screening questions, routes requests to the practice's staff as tasks, and pages the practice's on-call clinician according to the practice's rota.

It is an operational service. It is not a clinic, not a clinician and not a medical device.

What the receptionist is not

It does not diagnose, does not prescribe, does not approve refills and does not give medical advice. Where it answers a question it does so only from answers the practice approved. It is not an emergency service: emergency words end the screening and give 911 instructions, and the on-call is alerted, but the practice remains responsible for its emergency arrangements.

The practice's responsibilities

The practice provides and keeps current its providers, hours, visit types and scheduling rules, its approved answers, its on-call rota with a backup and a practice contact, and its recording and transcript policies. Screening forms are samples until a clinician at the practice approves them, and the practice is responsible for their clinical content. The practice tells callers about recording where it turns recording on, and keeps its own notice of privacy practices.

Staff accounts

Staff sign in with a work email, a one-time code and a second factor. Keep them to yourself; anything done from an account is treated as done by its holder. Tell us at [email protected] if you think an account has been compromised.

Pricing and payment

A flat fee per active provider per month, on full coverage or the nights-and-weekends plan, plus a rate for each minute of coverage on calls the receptionist handled. There is no setup fee, no per-call fee, no night, weekend or holiday surcharge, no per-seat fee for staff and no annual contract. The current prices are on the pricing page and on the practice's Reports screen; a change in prices is notified 30 days before it applies.

Using it properly

Do not use the receptionist to do anything unlawful, to impersonate someone, to reach records that are not the practice's, or to disrupt the service. We may suspend an account or a line that does.

Availability

We work to keep the service up and answer every call, but do not promise it will never be unavailable. A practice keeps the ability to take its line back at any time. We may change or withdraw features with notice.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the care a caller receives from the practice, its clinicians or anyone it refers to, nor for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the obligations in the Business Associate Agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law named in the service agreement, and the courts named there have jurisdiction. This version is dated 30 September 2026.
